ROSS COUNTY - SORARE INFO

Based in Dingwall in the very north of Scotland, Ross County are a highland club. Up until 1995 they played in the Highland League in Scotland (tier 5), in just over 20 years they have grown in stature, risen up the leagues and have won the Scottish League Cup while being Runners-up in the Scottish Cup.

Comment: . Malky Mackay continues to keep County in the league, making the Highlands a tough place to visit where County pick up most of their points. Ross Laidlaw signing a new contract was a big plus, Brophy in for such a big fee is surprising but he has a lot to prove I feel, in the Scotland squad 4 seasons ago he needs to get double figures in goals. Kyle Turner should be a good midfield addition in particular.

Win or draw at home is the formula that keeps County in the top league, a bonus on the road now and then and they will be safe. Not many teams like a trip to the Highlands. Last season Harmon was my breakthrough player along with Owura the former managed to nail down the LB spot. My key players were Iacovitti and Callachan (who ended up injured half the season). This year i expect Laidlaw to be essential.
