2023/24 TRANSFERS:
Comment: Loans and free transfers are the marketplace in which Motherwell operate most.
Last season I tipped Paul McGinn & Blair Spittal to be shrewd captures - they were. Jon Obika has converted from loan to perm and should continue to help the 'Well attack. Connor Wilkinson is a player I know from Fantasy League games and should hit double figures with ease in Scotland.
Big misses though will be KVV, Mikael Mandron, Max Johnston and Sean Goss. I tip Motherwell to be just above safety unless they get more replacements into the club. 14 departures, 3 loans out have been replaced with 5 incomings...

Last season we tipped KVV and Sean Goss to be the key players which was extremely accurate, we also tipped Ross Tierney & Dean Cornelius to break through which they both did to an extent but not enough to secure a starting berth week in week out. Max Johnston was the stand out BT talent.
This season we opt for
SS Key Players: Connor Wilkinson & Liam Kelly
SS Breakthrough Player: Lennon Miller is the only real option due to limited young players being in the 1st team squad
Opinion on GK order: Liam Kelly no.1 Aston Oxborough no.2
Players With International Utility:
Liam Kelly - Scotland
Bevis Mugabe - Uganda

The Motherwell squad is small in number with not much strength in depth
Defensively they have more options than in the attacking third, with Bevis Mugabi and Barry Maguire offering additional choices. The players shown are who I think will start most of the games this season. If you don't see a players name it's because I think most games they will be on the bench. Russ (ScotlandSorare)
Update 03/08: 2 more attacking options are added at Motherwell Bair & Bieroth - i think both will move ahead of Efford.
