A club currently overachieving on what could be described as a "shoestring" budget in the Scottish Premiership, managed by David Martindale the Livi "Lions" are the 3rd biggest club in the Lothian area of Scotland. Livingston's solitary major success in Scottish football is winning the League Cup in 2003/04.
2023/24 TRANSFERS:
Comment: Small fees and free transfers are STILL the "norm" for David Martindale in a transfer window. Season after season Martindale needs a magic wand basically to magic a squad together on a shoestring budget. Stephen Kelly was a signing I really rated from last season this year I tip Mike Nottingham & Mikey Devlin to do the best.

Livingston's first aim has to be survival in the top division. The squad seem well drilled and decent at home, Shamal George has shown glimpses of quality and with Nouble & Anderson up front there is always a goal threat. Last season we tipped Kelly & Penrice as breakthrough - both duly delivered. Key players last year were Holt and George. This season Bruce Anderson remaining and scoring is key for me along with the emergence of Morgan Boyes into central defence
Key Players: Bruce Anderson & Shamal George
Breakthrough Player: Morgan Boyes + Penrice's continued game time and development.
Opinion on GK order: Shamal George (1) Jack Hamilton (2)
Players With International Utility:
Dylan Bahambalou & Scott Bisindou - Congo
Mike Nottingham -St Kitts & Nevis
Esmael Goncalves - Guinea
Mo Sangare - Liberia
Luiy De Lucas - Dominican Republic

A relatively small squad that requires more fresh legs/depth in midfield in my opinion. If Nouble or Anderson depart I would expect a new arrival.
